A nation and its diaspora, organized for reconstruction.
Venezuela Recovery was founded in 2026 in Miami, Florida, in direct response to the structural and human toll of recent disasters in Venezuela — beginning with the June 2026 earthquake. We exist to channel the extraordinary capability of engineers, psychologists, social workers, professionals inside Venezuela, the global diaspora, universities and the private sector into a single, coordinated reconstruction and psychosocial support effort.

Four commitments that guide every action.
We serve buildings and families. Our mission is technical, not partisan.
Standardized intake, engineer review and public reporting on outcomes.
Vetted engineers, architects, builders and program managers — no improvisation.
We believe in Venezuela. Reconstruction is not a slogan — it is a plan.
From Miami, for Venezuela.
Carlos Ohep is a Business Technology Professional based in Miami, Florida, with deep ties to the Venezuelan community both at home and abroad. Watching the structural and human damage caused by recent disasters, he made a simple decision: do something useful, immediately, and at scale.
Venezuela Recovery is the answer — a non-profit platform that turns disparate goodwill into coordinated engineering action. Today the organization operates as an all-volunteer initiative; formal non-profit status and partnerships with established NGOs are in development.
We are actively seeking engineering firms, NGOs, universities and donors.
If your organization can contribute expertise, funding or logistical capacity to Venezuela's reconstruction, we would like to talk. Write to contact@venezuelarecovery.com.
